The JoStudy
The JoStudy Programmes provides both host family accommodation and
residential accommodation.
Some students may opt for accommodation with a English host family whilst other students may choose the residence option.
Homestay Host
A homestay experience is a valuable opportunity to improve your language skills and to learn about British culture, and possibly make new friends. We try very hard to make sure that the homestay accommodation is clean, comfortable, and friendly.
We have been in this area since 1993 so we are lucky to have built up a large bank of wonderful hosts.
Our host families are warm, welcoming, open-minded people who take both pride and pleasure in sharing their knowledge of the English language as well as our history and culture. Most homestays are a bus ride away and some of them live very close to the centre and to the school. The average journey time to/from school is 20 minutes by public transport. Most our students got along very well with the homestays and decided to come back every year to the same host family who has already become their second family.
B&B / Hotel Option
Some short stay students choose to live in a bed and breakfast or a hotel. Contact us for our recommendations.
We regret that we cannot make hotel bookings for you unless we have at least 2 month’s notice and advance payment.
Private Rental
You are free to opt for a private rental or for a Airbnb booking but you must know that Jostudy English Academy is not liable for any aspects of the rental.
Meals Options:
Bed & Breakfast
The student only has his/her breakfast provided by their homestay host. In this case students can supply their own lunch. Students can make their own light dinner on a self-catering basis at their host’s home.
Half-board Dinner
The student has breakfast and dinner with their homestay host. Students then provide their own lunch. At the weekends, students can expect a breakfast and dinner at their host’s.
Full board
The full board option includes breakfast with the host, packed lunch and dinner with the hosts.
